Drops App – what is it?
Quick overview
Drops is cool! As you keep using it, you will be able to grow your in-app tree and transform a deserted landscape into a a green scenery. All you have to do is recycle, recycle, recycle!
First navigate to Drops on any device with a browser. If you already have an account with any other EarthSquad site or app, you can simply login.
If you are a first timer, create an account by pressing the register button and filling in the few mandatory fields. After confirming your e-mail address, you’re good to go.
The tree screen gives an overview of your current wealth. You can see for instance, how rich you are in Drops.
Once you collect enough drops, you can “Let it rain” and watch your tree grow!
The Action-Button on the bottom right will bring you to the main screen, where all the important stuff happens.

In the center is the “Scan”-Button. Use it to record all products you give for recycling. The main source for earning drops.
See your own achievements and what all EarthSquaders achieved together. Check out Cleanuminati.com and Trashspotters.com for a touch of activism.
Other functions include change language, mute/unmute sounds and logging out.
Here you can scan the barcode of the product, that you recycle.
Chose “Bulk”-Recycling for large quantities. You still earn Drops and Recycling points! Bulk is used for instance for garden manure or after a party in the office, when you don’t want to scan hundreds of barcodes.
Depending on the Megapixels of your device and light conditions, it might be faster to enter the barcode manually, especially on older phones.
