How is it done?

In the United States, the facility is located in Memphis, Tennessee, while in Europe the facility is in Meerhout, Belgium. Here, they are processed into a resurfacing material known as Nike Grind.

All types of athletic shoes can be collected and recycled. However, sandals, dress shoes, boots and shoes containing metal and spikes are not recyclable.
