Isso aumenta os custos, além dos caros equipamentos e soluções de filtragem. Por último, a solução tratada deve ser descartada corretamente, longe de qualquer potencial local de contaminação. Além disso, incorrer em altos custos de transporte.
Essas técnicas simplesmente não são uma resposta quando se trata de países menos desenvolvidos com menos recursos.
