Alrededor de 8 a 9 millones de veh\u00edculos al final de la vida se reciclan por a\u00f1o solo en los pa\u00edses de la UE. Los autom\u00f3viles son el producto reciclado n\u00famero uno en los Estados Unidos.<\/p>\n<p>La buena noticia es que el reciclaje de piezas de autom\u00f3viles est\u00e1 motivado por preocupaciones econ\u00f3micas, tecnol\u00f3gicas, sociales y ambientales. Hay muchas razones por las cuales la industria automotriz en s\u00ed misma prefiere la sostenibilidad <a href=\"https:\/\/www.earthsquad.global\/es\/advantages-of-living-a-zero-waste-lifestyle\/\" target=\"_ blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> gesti\u00f3n de residuos <\/a> y la mayor\u00eda de las piezas del autom\u00f3vil se reciclan. Por ejemplo, los materiales ferrosos y no ferrosos son valiosos y pueden reutilizarse de inmediato. Estos materiales constituyen aproximadamente el 67.5% del veh\u00edculo, mientras que los pl\u00e1sticos se usan en aproximadamente el 9.3% de los autos promedio.<\/p>\n<p>Otra forma de reciclar los autom\u00f3viles es exportarlos como autom\u00f3viles de segunda mano a los pa\u00edses en desarrollo, incluida la ex Uni\u00f3n Sovi\u00e9tica y \u00c1frica, donde se pueden vender intactos en lugar de como piezas de repuesto y materiales mediante el reciclaje. En primer lugar, se eliminan las valiosas piezas de repuesto y otros componentes como motores, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.earthsquad.global\/es\/recycling-techniques-of-batteries\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> bater\u00edas <\/a>, aceites y combustibles y bolsas de aire.
