Sickerwasser ist eine Fl\u00fcssigkeit, die den Boden einer Deponie entw\u00e4ssert oder „auslaugt“. Es entsteht durch die nat\u00fcrliche Verrottung und Zersetzung von organischem Material in der Deponie und besteht haupts\u00e4chlich aus gel\u00f6sten Salzen in Kombination mit organischen Verbindungen und einem hohen Anteil an Ammoniak und Metallionen. Anscheinend ist dies, genau wie bei allen anderen Abf\u00e4llen, nicht der Fall, da die mit organischen Verbindungen vermischten Schwermetallionen eine gro\u00dfe Filterherausforderung f\u00fcr Deponien darstellen und Gefahren wie Umweltsch\u00e4den und Verschmutzung unserer Wassersysteme verursachen.<\/p>\n

Es gibt auch ein sekund\u00e4res Problem, das darin besteht, dass sobald das eigentliche Sickerwasser abflie\u00dft, es herausgenommen, gefiltert und ordnungsgem\u00e4\u00df entsorgt werden muss. Beim Versuch, die Drainage zu behandeln, enthalten moderne Deponien einen angepassten Behandlungsstil, der biologische und Membranbehandlung umfasst. Dies ist jedoch nicht ideal, da es teuer ist, in die entsprechende Ausr\u00fcstung zu investieren, die f\u00fcr das Verfahren erforderlich ist. Dar\u00fcber hinaus stellt die dichte Mischung von L\u00f6sungsmitteln eine Herausforderung f\u00fcr derzeitige Filtersysteme dar, da die Wasserbehandlungen nicht auf eine Kombination unbekannter Verbindungen vorbereitet sind, sondern eher auf spezifische, so dass kleinere Verbindungen durch die Membranen sickern k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n

Dann muss das „gefilterte“ Sickerwasser auf hohe Temperaturen erhitzt werden, um die darin enthaltenen toxischen organischen Verbindungen zu verbrennen. Dies erh\u00f6ht die Kosten zus\u00e4tzlich zu den teuren Filterger\u00e4ten und -l\u00f6sungen. Schlie\u00dflich muss die behandelte L\u00f6sung vor m\u00f6glichen Kontaminationsstellen ordnungsgem\u00e4\u00df entsorgt werden. Au\u00dferdem entstehen hohe Transportkosten.<\/p>\n

Diese Techniken sind einfach keine Antwort auf weniger entwickelte L\u00e4nder mit weniger Ressourcen.<\/p>\n

Heute gibt es Agenturen wie die Umweltbeh\u00f6rde, die an dem Problem arbeiten und Projekte zur Filtertechnologie wie die LAT (Low-Temperature Ambient Pressure Technologies) -Projekte finanzieren. Das LAT-Verfahren senkt die Prozesskosten erheblich, da keine Vorbehandlung und keine chemische Nachbehandlung erforderlich ist. Au\u00dferdem wird ein Remineralisierungs- und UV-Desinfektionssystem implementiert, um das richtige Gleichgewicht der Mineralien f\u00fcr eine sichere Lagerung und Entsorgung zu erreichen.<\/p>\n

Inzwischen werden von den Regierungsbeh\u00f6rden kosteneffizientere Methoden eingef\u00fchrt, die sich st\u00e4rker bem\u00fchen, den Ablauf von Deponien zu \u00fcberwachen. Die Technik wird als UASB (Upflow Anaerobic Sludge Blanket) bezeichnet. Hierbei handelt es sich um ein Verfahren zur Abwasserbehandlung, bei dem im Wesentlichen eine Schlammdecke entsteht, die auf den Boden des Tanks sinkt, w\u00e4hrend das Abwasser, das in einer Reihe von biologischen Prozessen nach oben flie\u00dft, gefiltert wird.<\/p>\n
